Hola WHat’s Hot Fam,
This Who’s Hot Wednesday I invite you to check out my interview with Chicago native and actor Stephen Bishop regarding the premiere of Netflix’s “Fatal Affair.” The original film tells a tale of a friendly reunion turned lethal. Alongside Bishop, the cast includes Nia Long, Omar Epps and Maya Stojan.
A synopsis of the film reads: “Ellie (Long) tries to mend her marriage with her husband Marcus (Bishop) after a brief encounter with an old friend, David (Epps), only to find that David is more dangerous and unstable than she’d realized.”

You probably recognize Bishop as Gabrielle Union’s on and off again boo thing, David Paulk, in the BET original series series “Being Mary Jane.” His other credits include the Bravo/NBC series “Imposters” alongside Uma Thurman (Pulp Fiction), and TV One’s “Media”.
During our chitchat, the actor discussed his favorite memory while on the set of “Fatal Affair,” his opportunity to square up with Epps and his chemistry with Long. He also revealed whether or not he’s as forgiving as his character in the film.
I was fortunate enough to see the movie ahead of it’s premiere and I was excited by the performance of this all black cast. While “Fatal affair” is predictable, the energy is high and the film is fast paced. It’s the perfect Netflix and chill flick as we survive another Coronavirus-affected weekend.
Grab your popcorn and stream “Fatal Affair,” which drops Thursday.
