Lizzo Drops the B- Bomb, Megan Thee Stallion wins Best New Artist at Grammys 2021

The best part about live award shows are the too real moments!

On Sunday evening, singer Lizzo got explicitly real when she took the stage to announce the nominees and winner of the Best New Artist category at the 2021 Grammy awards.

“I’m presenting because I looooove you and my three shiny Grammy’s that I got last year,” the “Feeling Good as Hell” artist belted. ” B*** I’m back… oh ah ah I’m so sorry!”

She went on to read the script, but couldn’t stop giggling at herself and it seems that the category winner, Megan Thee Stallion, couldn’t help but snicker either.

“Stop laughing at me Megan,” Lizzo chuckled in between her tele-prompted words before proceeding to announce the nominees which included Chika, Doja Cat, Noah Cyrus and D Smoke.

After fumbling to open the envelope , Lizzo excitedly invited her “H-Town” homie to the stage.

“I don’t want to cry,” Megan began while shutting her eyes momentarily. “First of all I want to say… everybody who was nominated for this award is so amazing. So shout out to all y’all. Secondly, I really just want to thank God. thank you for putting life into my body to even be here today…Thank you to everybody for sticking by me through all of my craziness. It’s been a hell of a year, but we made it! Thank you to everybody at RocNation.I really just want to say thank you to my momma. She not here with me today, but I know she’s here with me in spirit and she always believed I could do it so thank y’all!”

From laughter to tears, that’s the beauty of live award shows!
