Hola What’s Hot Fam,
With fire-breathing creatures and witty one-liners, ‘Dungeons & Dragons: Honor Among Thieves’ is bringing the heat to the big screen.
This Paramount Pictures production follows “a charming thief and a band of unlikely adventurers [who] undertake an epic heist to retrieve a lost relic, but things go dangerously awry when they run afoul of the wrong people.” As you probably figured out, the film is based on the Hasbro’s board game Dungeons & Dragons.
Shooting for the film began on May 4, 2021, in locations near and around Belfast, Northern Ireland.
This action-packed movie is set in “Forgotten Realms” and stars:
Chris Pine (‘Star Trek’) as Edgin Darvis, the Bard
Michelle Rodriguez (‘The Fast and The Furious’) as Holga Kilgore, the Barbarian
Regé-Jean Page (‘Bridgerton’) as Xenk Yendar, the Paladin
Justice Smith (Pokémon: Detective Pikachu) as Simon Aumar, the Sorcerer
Sophia Lillis (‘It’) as Doric, the Druid
Hugh Grant (‘Love Actually’) as Forge Fitzwilliam
Chloe Coleman (‘Avatar: The Way of Water’) as Kira
and Daisy Head (‘Shadow and Bone’) as Sofina, the Red Wizard

Here’s how a few of the stars described their characters:
[Edgin] will make the best out of any situation. He might seem like he has his stuff together, but more often than not, he’s winging it. It makes him, I think, a likable thief.”– Chris Pine
[Edgin is] like [Kolga’s] brother in a sense. She’d never admit it, but when you’re shunned by the world and you find acceptance somewhere, it’s a beautiful thing.”– Michelle Rodriguez
With all these people who blow things up and make horrible plans, you really need one person there who’s just completely deadpan, saying, ‘This makes no sense.’ Doric, the way she was written, she’s a really fun character to work with because I got to be that deadpan person.”– Sophia Lillis
Xenk is a very old man stuck in a young and virile man’s body. He is sworn to heroism. He’s infuriatingly upright, moral, a perfect paladin hero. Within D&D, paladins are known for being slightly overly heroic and showy. The joy of Xenk is that he’s all those things yet utterly unaware of them. He exists mostly to infuriate our group by being the hero that they’re not quite.”– Regé-Jean Page
‘Dungeons & Dragons: Honor Among Thieves’ brings the kick-ass and humorous spirit of the legendary roleplaying game to theaters on March 31!
